Mater Metier's works naturally assume the different conditions than the usual design and manufacturing requires. We are aware of the emotional component in all of our projects and how it may define a family's way of life.

This House in Brussels commissioned by Annalisa and Jocelyn, previously rehabilitated by Julien, was called to become the home of a family of four and their guests. This was a big challenge for us, if we also take into consideration that Mater Metier’s solutions had to coexist with large pieces of design history.

The rehabilitation links the history of the property with the new projected functionality, working as a nexus between the old and the new features and comfortably blending with the daily use of the house.

The family enjoys this tailor-made home since 2014 and we hope to work with them soon on exciting new life projects.
